How to make a cruise booking with Let's Cruise

We like to make it as easy as possible for you. No-one wants to start booking a holiday with headaches and difficulties.

Contact us at any time if you are stuck or have a question.

Find your perfect cruise

Choose a weekend getaway, a midweek break or something longer.

Filter through what is available, or get in touch if you cannot find what you are looking for—such as that dream cruise in the Caribbean.

Find a cruise

Request your quote

Click the cruise you are interested in, then select Get Quote and complete the easy quote request form.

We ask for each traveller's age because cabin fares and charges can vary depending on the age of the children.

Wait for us to get in touch

We will send you a quote with all the relevant details and charges. We do not hide any of the costs—it is all transparent.

Once you have decided to book, reply with the first name, surname and date of birth of every person travelling.

If you are booking more than one cabin, clearly show who you would like in each cabin. Many ships allow a maximum of four people in one cabin.

Important: Use each passenger's first name and surname exactly as they appear on their travel document. If you used a nickname or second name when requesting your quote, provide the correct name for the booking.

Secure your booking

We will make your booking and email the booking confirmation to you, together with the details for paying your deposit.

Pay your deposit and your booking is secured. A booking is not secure until the deposit has been paid, and it can be cancelled if payment is late. Rebooking may mean a different price or losing your preferred cabin.

Plan your final payment

Make a note of when your final payment is due—usually 75 days before your cruise departs.

If you cannot settle the balance in full by the required date, opt to make monthly or weekly payments.

Do not let the final payment date surprise you. Cruise lines may give only a short extension, if any. An unpaid balance can result in cancellation and the loss of your deposit or cabin.

Get your travel documents ready

Check what your cruise requires. This may include passports, birth certificates, visas and other documentation, depending on your destination and who is travelling.

Travelling with children? Children travelling through South African ports of entry have specific documentation requirements, so understand these well in advance.

Important: Passengers are responsible for having correct, current travel documents. Requirements can change. Check the latest information with the South African Department of Home Affairs, your cruise line and the relevant embassy or consulate. We strongly recommend doing this early.

Choose your optional extras

Consider drinks packages, cruise-line excursions, pre- or post-cruise accommodation, Wi-Fi and other extras.

These can be added to your booking, subject to availability and applicable deadlines. Ask your cruise consultant for the available packages and extras.

Permission to be excited is given at this point!

Complete passenger registration

Complete the cruise line's passenger registration so your tickets can be issued. Keep your travel documents nearby, as you will need information from them.

Complete this as soon as it becomes available.

Watch your inbox

Once everything is paid in full—including any extras—and passenger registration is complete, your tickets should come swooping into your inbox.

Pack your bags

Woo-hoo! Pack your bags and let's go cruising.
